Austin & Liz | An Intimate Madison Wedding
Another wonderful couple who said “Love comes first” is on the blog today! Like many 2020 brides & grooms, Austin & Liz had to adjust their wedding plans many times over the past few months. Between the change of venue, planning a back-up date, dealing with mask mandates and ultimately a cancelled reception, Austin & Liz never complained during our back & forth conversations. With everything the world threw their way, they still had smiles on their faces and a positive attitude through it all.
Our day began at Austin & Liz’s apartment where Liz slipped into the wedding dress, surrounded by her mom & sisters. After an intimate ceremony officiated by a dear family friend, Austin & Liz shared cake with their guests and mingled outside — the silver lining of not rushing away to the wedding reception was that Austin & Liz had plenty of extra time for great conversations & additional family photos with everyone who attended. And isn’t that the most meaningful thing to focus on at a wedding — the union of two families & being surrounded by those you love?
After watching how they reacted to what we would all consider a relatively stressful process, I can’t help but comment on what an amazing team Austin & Liz make and how gracefully they will handle anything else life throws their way throughout their marriage. Congrats you two! <3
That JUST MARRIED (despite COVID) smile!!! <3
So beautiful, you two!!
I love that Austin & Liz were able to have time for more family photos before they headed out to dinner!
