Mike & Lindsay | A Seven Bridges Trail Engagement Session
There is nothing quite as cozy as fall engagement sessions! Mike & Lindsay’s session had the most BEAUTIFUL fall color — it felt like we hit Seven Bridges Trail in Milwaukee during the peak of the season, which made this location the perfect spot for their photos!
I LOVE hearing how my couples met, especially when the stories ends with, “It was just meant to be.”. It’s crazy to think that Mike & Lindsay were one small decision away from not meeting each other. Both Mike & Lindsay were involved in Greek organizations during their college years and participated in the gatherings/mixers that went along with that. It was during Lindsay’s junior year there was an event which welcomed new members and for whatever reason, she hadn’t planned on attending. As a last minute decision, Lindsay decided to go but hung back in the kitchen of the house — just doing her own thing and getting ready to head back home. As fate would have it, Mike walked into the kitchen at that very moment and saw Lindsay by herself, which of course warranted a conversation as to why she was there alone!! All of those tiny decisions (to attend the party, to both be in that kitchen in that exact moment) led to the start of their forever story. When I asked Mike about their conversation that night, he said “I think we both realized immediately that this was something different, it was something special.” So sweet!!!
YES, we happened to have amazing color at the park during their engagement session but that’s not the only special thing about this session! As our session ended, we headed down to the beach to get some photos by the lake. It was in this exact spot that Mike proposed to Lindsay a few months ago!!! I just love the significance of capturing engagement photos in such a meaningful location.
Mike & Lindsay, I can’t wait for your Milwaukee wedding next year! Cheers to so many more years of happiness Xo
