Provenance | Mint & Lovely Floral Workshop

When the girls at Mint & Lovely  approached me to be a part of their floral workshop in Milwaukee, I jumped at the opportunity. Why was I so excited? Because the workshops that these ladies host are all about investing in a new skill or trade – something that brings joy to your life and sets your soul on fire. Sure, when I left the workshop I went home with a beautiful arrangement of flowers but the most valuable part (to me) was surrounding myself with other creative souls who were investing in themselves + nurturing their passions.

Provenance MKE was led by the talented Sunny DuBois, a woman who spent 6 years as Oprah’s personal florist (YOU get a bouquet, YOU get a bouquet, YOU ALL get bouquets!!!) but she is so much more than that. This woman is a selfless wealth of knowledge who cultivates joy + inspiration from sharing her experience and talent with others. The room was filled with positive energy as guests sipped on mimosa’s and nibbled on sweets. In addition to the incredible floral arrangements, each guest went home with a gift bag of goodies and a piece of jewelry from the Kendra Scott collection.

As a creative soul, I highly recommend doing things that make you yearn for more knowledge and growth — whether that be through workshops or something else, you’ll never regret investing in yourself. Mint & Lovely hosts multiple workshops throughout the year (including calligraphy, watercolor, floral arrangement and more) so if you missed this one, there’s always another opportunity around the corner! xo
